Our Two Cents
The Icon Konflict gloves are mostly leather and with a neoprene cuff. They are a bit longer than a typical wrist length short cuff glove… by about an inch or two. This will give just a bit more coverage over the wrist and with the close fit of the glove cuff will fit under your sleeve cuff. With the slightly longer length and the solid leather design (no venting to speak of), I’d recommend this glove for mild weather use. They won’t work well in hot weather, cold weather or wet weather.
The leather used in these gloves is super soft and pliable and there is no liner so you’ll get great, direct contact with the controls. Without a liner, you may experience some dye bleed on your hands though. This sort of thing happens when gloves are new and declines with repeated use.
The draw here is mostly visual I think… the armor on the knuckle is molded rubber and is comfortable, and is REALLY TALL. At first glance, they look like spikes or horns like you’d see in a sci-fi movie. The armor is flexible and quite comfortable though, so you won’t really notice the strange shape just by wearing them. :: Paul, 03-22-17
