Oh my! These Travel 5 gloves feel great! The back of the hand is lined and very lightly padded, and the palm side is unlined, so all around, you feel some soft luxurious surfaces. And the finger seams on the palm side are externally sewn so you don’t have those seams turned inside to rub anywhere.

The palm is a large single piece of goatskin… again very few seams so it feels great. The knuckles are covered in a layer of Temperfoam which is covered in leather, so there is some impact protection, but without a hard knuckle assembly that you find in many gloves… another contributor to comfort. This is primarily a solid leather glove without venting (other than some perfs on the back of the hand behind the knuckle), so consider this style for all but very hot or very cold conditions.

The palm of the hand has a “Superfabric” palm slider which adds abrasion resistance in the palm and promotes sliding rather than grabbing and twisting. This Superfabric is low friction and super resistant to wear through so it is perfect for this purpose. There is a Velcro close strap at the wrist to secure the gloves on your hand and then there is an adjustment at the cuff with Velcro as well. The cuff isn’t large, so count on wearing these under the jacket sleeve.

Being primarily a street/touring style, the gloves have a visor wiper on the left index finger. With the soft armor setup, the gloves will roll up or fold up small and will easily fit in a pocket somewhere which is great for travel. :: Paul, 05-02-17
