Sizing Information

We find Spidi gloves to fit similar to other European brands like Dainese, Alpinestars, and REVIT, so if you know what size you wear in these brands, we advise you to choose the same size as you’ve worn before.

Just as an FYI, European brand gloves typically fit a bit snugger than US based brands such as Tour Master, FirstGear, Icon, etc. Even though this glove runs a bit more snug, it isn’t so much that we’d advise going up a size, but if you are at all between sizes, choose the larger.

If you have no idea what size you wear, please see the following Spidi glove size chart and hand measurement instructions to help you choose a size.

Our Two Cents

The Spidi Mistral H2Out gloves are made for cooler weather and/or wet weather. The gloves include a waterproof liner and a light layer of insulating material.

This glove is very comfortable with a VERY plushy interior. I can picture sliding these babies on a chilly morning. The gloves are insulated lightly and along with the waterproof liner and plush interior liner, should give pretty good warmth for colder weather. They won’t be comfortable in warm weather though.

The protection feels good too. The knuckles are covered by a molded protector and the palm of the hand has a large area of dense foam covering the heel area of the palm. The palm-side material is a sturdy feeling man-made suede material.

Here’s one concern if you plan to ride in rain… I don’t see how a short cuff glove like this is going to be great and keeping your hands dry. The purpose of a longer cuff you see on nearly every other rainproof glove is to overlap either over or under your jacket sleeve to keep water and drafts out. But a short cuff glove like this won’t. :: Paul, 07-10-19

Spidi says: The new EN13594:2015 certified SPIDI Mistral gloves are offered in two colorways including Black (026) and Black/Gray (010). Each pair is made from 0.6mm to 0.8mm goat leather, prized for its low weight and exceptionally high abrasion-resistance. The slightly thinner profile of goat leather results in better tactile sensitivity, a useful feature when coupled with the Mistral’s capacitive touchscreen compatibility. The SPIDI Mistral is designed for both high-performance and daily usability, it features a padded palm, padding on the back of the hand, armored knuckles for safety, and reflective zones on the fingers for night riding. The palms are double-layer for additional abrasion resistance, and the wrist closure is an elasticized adjustable velcro cuff. For all-season usability, the Mistral has a 100gr thermal layer and an H2Out waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane.
