Sizing Information
We’ve found that some REV’IT! sport gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands… much like Alpinestars. This glove is not so snug that I’d recommend you buy one size larger than normal, but certainly if you are between sizes, then choosing the larger of the two should work. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help
Our Two Cents
The Drifter 3 H2O Gloves are new for 2020. These are a long gauntlet waterproof glove with no insulation, meant for use in mild to warmer weather.
There are very few waterproof riding gloves made without insulation too and that is what this glove offers. You can use a glove like this in wet conditions, but when the temps out are mild or warm. Even in the summer, and it’s raining, you’d be fine with these gloves. I wouldn’t recommend these for warmer or hot weather when it is dry though as the waterproof liner doesn’t allow airflow through like a glove designed for hot weather.
The outside of this glove is well made and has a tailored look. The black textile material on the back of the hand is lightweight and looks nice. There is a large stretch panel across the knuckles so you’ll have room when you make a fist. The palm side is black leather. The palm has a dense pad in the heel of the hand to give some degree of crash protection in that area.
The gloves have Velcro at the cuff so you can adjust the cuff either over or under your sleeve, and there is another wrist strap to secure the gloves on your hand in case of a fall. One other nicety I’ve noticed is a strip of fleecy material on the inside of each index finger so you can wipe your shield without scratching. :: Paul, 02-10-20
