Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major US brands such as Tour Master and Joe Rocket, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. Just as an FYI, European brands such as REVIT, Dainese and Alpinestars typically run just a touch more snug that US sized gloves.

If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Oxford publishes a “template” you can print to choose a glove size by comparing your hand to a printed image. Click here to view/print.

We checked our own sizing advice based on a hand measurement to Oxfords printed template and found the measuring method to be most accurate.

Our Two Cents

Oxford Toronto gloves are a leather and textile glove for colder and wet weather with a mid-length cuff. An internal waterproof liner is included.

The cuff on this glove is long enough to go over a jacket sleeve end and of course, could be worn under too. The cuff isn’t as long as with most winter gloves which may be welcome for those that don’t like the extra bulk, and it’s also handy for those that plan on wearing the glove cuff under their sleeve.

The insulation in this glove is on the thin side, so I would recommend this glove for milder weather, but not cold weather. The palm side is leather and the back of the hand is textile with leather trim on the ends of the finger. Protection consists of a hard knuckle protector on the back of the hand and some dense foam padding in the heel of the hand. The Velcro closure does a reasonable job of holding the glove on your hand which is a good feature in case of a fall.

One complaint with this glove is that the rain liner which is built in between the glove shell and the inside liner is a bit “crunchy” when you open and close your hand. I’m not saying it would do its job, but the crinkly noise is kinda weird. The price point of this glove is very attractive for what it is. It’s hard to find anything in this price range of reasonable quality. :: Paul, 08-07-19

Oxford says: New, waterproof winter glove with mid-length cuff so that riders can wear a jacket over the glove.
