Oxford Convoy 2.0 Gloves (SOLD OUT)

These gloves are consistent with the major US brands such as Tour Master and Joe Rocket, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. Just as an FYI, European brands such as REVIT, Dainese and Alpinestars typically run just a touch more snug that US sized gloves.

The Convoy 2.0 Gloves by Oxford is a textile and leather insulated/waterproof glove which is a bargain!

The Convoy 2.0 is similar to the Montreal glove, but just a little lighter duty. Like the Montreal, this glove has an excellent closure at the wrist to keep the gloves on your hands in case of a fall. The palm is leather while the rest of the glove is textile. Instead of a hard plastic knuckle guard like the Montreal, this one has dense foam over the knuckles.

The insulation level in this glove I’d call “lighter”. I don’t think you’d be comfortable for long in cold temps, but they’d probably be fine for cooler and mild temps, or even warmer weather in the rain.

Speaking of rain, there is a built-in rainproof liner along with a longer gauntlet so you can seal the end of the glove with integral bungee cord against rain or wind.

I’m surprised at the pricing here… ordinarily you’d get nearly nothing decent for $49, but this glove feels surprisingly nice. I’d recommend it! BTW, it is available for both genders. Take the link below to view the ladies glove. :: Paul, 08-08-19
