Held Glove Care

Our Two Cents

The Satu II glove by Held is a lighter weight waterproof glove for mild to hot weather use. GoreTex is the waterproof technology and the shell is a mix of textile and leather.

I like the feel of these gloves. They don’t have hard armor pieces like more elaborate sport model gloves and so they are lighter and more flexible. They’ll also fold up and store away in a pocket easier. The palm material is goat and is very soft and pliable. The insides are lined with a soft nylon material. And unlike waterproof gloves made for colder weather, the liner material doesn’t have pile which makes them cooler as it warms up outside. That’s why I say these would be useful in wet and mild-to-warmer weather.

The gloves have the strap at the wrist to keep them on and they have an adjustable cuff over the wrist. The cuff is pretty close to the wrist so it will work best for those that plan to wear the glove cuff under the jacket cuff. The gloves have some thin impact protection over the knuckles and in the palm of the glove. There is also a wiper built into the left index finger to squeegee your shield. :: Paul, 02-25-19
