Sizing Information

Most Dainese gloves we’ve carried run snug like other European brands, but this particular style seems to run “normally” like other US brands. So choose the size you normally wear.

Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The X-Tourer D-Dry gloves by Dianese is a very nice textile glove with insulation and a waterproof liner for use in winter. It has a substantial protector over the knucles and padding in the heel of the hand.

I like the tailoring of this glove. Its sharp and well made. The knuckle protector is super comfortable and blends right in to the design of the glove. I also like the cuff arrangement. There is a very wide Velcro closure at the end of the gauntlet so you can adjust for any type of sleeve on your riding jacket(s).

The insulation thickness seems “moderate”. Its not a big puffy glove, but its not thin either. It will definitely be good for colder weather use. The inside is lined with comfortable material. The overall weight of the gloves is very light which is nice when you are packing all the other winter garb.

Safety-wise, this glove has the usual features… molded knuckle armor, extra padding in the heel area of the hand and a positive closing strap at the wrist to keep the gloves on your hand in case of a fall. Other nice little features are: a visor wiper on the left thumb, touch pad material in the index finger to check your phone and reflective lettering on the back side of the hand for night time visibility. :: Paul, 11-14-18
