Sizing Information
We tried the size Medium in this shirt on Huey and we put an XL shirt on Dewey. We also spot checked a few sizes with tape. Our basic advice is to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.
Below I’ve listed the estimated max chest for each size shirt and also the approximate max belly. These shirts are kinda stretchy like a regular sweatshirt so fit isn’t precise, but unless you want the shirt stretched over your belly, make sure you pick a size that is large enough based on what you measure.
Size | Max Chest | Max Belly |
---|---|---|
Small | 40 | 36 |
Medium | 42 | 38 |
Large | 44 | 40 |
XL | 48 | 44 |
XXL | 52 | 48 |
XXXL | 56 | 52 |
XXXXL | 58 | 54 |
Our Two Cents
The Critical Mass moto jersey is a sweatshirt-style shirt that is reinforced with Kevlar in key areas. .
Take a look at our photo gallery. We’ve included a picture with the shirt turned inside out. You can see the Kevlar fabric reinforcement fabric sewn into the elbow and shoulder areas. The shirt doesn’t have any other armor or provisions for adding any. I can see this shirt being worn with other types of armor (either over or under). Or if you used it for off-road riding, it would be a more durable and warmer shirt as compared to a nylon jersey.
The sleeve ends are fitting with “monkey paws” to hold the sleeve ends down and in back of the shirt there are a couple loops so you can attach the tail to your jean’s belt to keep the shirt from blowing up at higher speeds (and also to help hold it down if you fall). :: Paul, 03-07-18
