REV'IT! Metis Gloves (Sold Out)

We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

REVIT Metis gloves are a great sport street riding glove. They offer sharp styling, very nice build quality and an affordable price. This Metis glove has a race style gauntlet made to wear over a sport jacket sleeve. In trying on these gloves right out of the package, I find them to be pretty darn comfortable. The goat hide is flexible and thin enough to allow easy movement. And the inside of the gloves are fully lined with nylon material so they slide on easy and will be comfortable. This is a solid leather glove, so consider them for all seasons except for the hottest days of summer (no significant venting here). These will be great on mild days three seasons of the year.

The basic protection features for sport street riding are here… there is a positive close strap at the wrist to keep the gloves on your hand in case of a fall. And the gauntlet is very adjustable to work with whatever jacket sleeve style you’ve got on. And the knuckles have the usual hard plastic molded protector and there is even a palm slider to beef up the impact protection on the palm side.

All REVIT products are well made, so these aren’t “cheaply” constructed even though the price is right. For the money, these seem like a good value. :: Paul, 02-05-19
