Sizing Information
We checked the fit on these jackets with our size mannequins and we also spot checked a few different size jackets with a tape. We feel this model runs true to size. The jackets are sold in ordinary “alpha” sizes, so you can choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.
Vests are an easier fit than a jacket because they don’t have sleeves and therefore don’t have a very specific max chest size like a jacket. We’ve put together the chart below to help you make sure you are choosing the right size. Make sure the size you choose will be big enough for both your chest and you belly.
This vest has three snaps on each side of the vest to take up the fit through the torso so you can reduce take down the size by about 4” if needed.
Jacket Size | Max Chest | Max Belly |
---|---|---|
Small | 40 | 38 |
Medium | 42 | 40 |
Large | 44 | 42 |
XL | 46 | 44 |
XXL | 49 | 47 |
XXXL | 52 | 50 |
XXXXL | 56 | 54 |
Our Two Cents
The 12 Gauge Vest by Highway 21 has a slightly western style with the V neck and no collar. Its a more simple vest design than some other Highway 21 vests.
This vest is lined with plain black nylon liner. Like nearly all Highway 21 jackets and vests, this one is equipped with a concealed carry pocket just inside the main zipper. On the other side, there is a patch pocket which would be perfect for a phone or other tech. On the the front, there are two zipper hand pockets and the two upper chest pockets. The side snaps to adjust the fit add some style as well as being functional. :: Paul, 03-01-18
