Cortech Niterider Vest

We checked the sizing of the chest and belly of this vest and developed the size chart below. If you plan to wear the vest over a t-shirt or other thin layer then we recommend you choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing. If you are planning to wear the vest over riding apparel we recommend you choose a size above what you normally wear in men’s clothing.

If you want to make a size selection with your chest and belly measurements, use the chart below which lists max chest and max belly sizes for each vest size. After you measure, you can choose a jacket size using the chart that will accommodate both your chest and belly. The size range shown is the estimated minimum and maximum with the adjustment straps fully tightened and fully loosened respectively. Remember to size the vest over any other gear you plan to wear!

The Cortech Niterider Vest is a high-visibility vest with several highly reflective strips and some storage and protection options. The Niterider has a foam back pad that can be upgraded if you choose to a CE-level back protector (see related products below, the women’s D3O back protector fits). The chest has a zippered I.D. storage pocket with a window for visibility and the other side has several Molle style mounting points. Above the Molle is a hook and loop strip so you can attach a name tag or other badge of your choosing. The vest has hook and loop adjusters at the chest and waist and a single belt loop hoop at the lower back so you can attach it to your riding pants. There are also zippered hand pockets at the belly. The clasp at the chest also has a built in whistle. The whistle would be hard to use since the location is fixed, but if you needed to signal someone that you were down in a hard to see place it might be useful.

The Cortech Niterider Vest has more options than I can think of ever seeing on a purpose built high-visibility vest. At this price, it’s a great deal! :: Mike, 08/15/2022
