Sizing Information

Our staff tried on a few different sizes of the Sky shirts and underpants and we found a good fit in the size we usually wear in men’s clothing. We found the fit to be pretty snug in our normal size which would be ideal for wearing under motorcycling jackets and pants. With the pants, definitely pick the size you normally wear in your underwear, shorts or pants.

If you want a snug fit in the shirt, go with the size you normally wear as well, but if you want a more casual fit, then choose one size larger. Personally, I found the shirt in my size to be good to wear under and jacket, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing a shirt that snug in public, so I’d choose the larger.

Our Two Cents

I like the fabric used in the Sky shirt and pants. It will be great for wearing under your gear in mild to hot weather. The fabric looks like a solid grey athletic shirt from the outside, but the back side of the fabric has a tiny “3D” waffle aspect to it. And looking through the fabric from the inside out, you can see it will be very light and breathable, but looking from the outside in, it is more opaque to the eye. The fabric stretches in the side-to-side direction but doesn’t stretch much from top to bottom, so it should hold its shape very well but still allow easy movement. Its a well tailored product with flat seams and high quality construction. :: Paul, 10-12-18

REVIT says: Pair the Sky LL base layer pants with the matching long sleeve shirt and you have a set that is perfect for helping stay comfortable on your motorcycle. A base layer that does their job properly will wick moisture away from your body so you won’t be sitting in your sweat. Furthermore, it quickly transports moisture through the fabric, away from the skin, spreading quickly over the outside of the fabric where it can more easily evaporate and/or be wicked away through the next layer, provided that’s a functional layer, as well. This will ultimately help prevent the body from cooling down too much when you’re subjected to wind chill or cold.
