These pants have adjustable knee armor, but it is important to note that they allow the armor to be placed higher than normal, but not really any lower. The "low" position is really where I would expect a typical average fixed knee armor position to be. Keep this in mind if you have long legs. Anyone of average or short stature should have no issues. These pants flow a ton of air. I picked grey to help reduce the heat during the summer. The quality of these pants is good and adjustment at the waist is adequate, but somewhat conservative. Again, the waist will largely allow one to make the pants smaller than the stated size, but the stretch at the waist only goes so far. I would err on the larger of two sizes if you need to choose. Overall these are very affordable and will allow you to have some decent protection in the summertime for low price. All the cool kids wear pants when they ride, even in the summer!
