I normally wear full leathers when riding. However, it's not much fun to suit up in leather for short errands in town where you never get above 30 and spend a lot of time waiting in traffic. Not wanting to go totally unprotected, the Mesh-Tex jacket fits the bill. Compared to leather and full textiles, it's cool in stop & go traffic. It comes with light armor in the shoulders, elbows and back, and best of all, it comes in tall sizes. I'm 6'2" with a 44" chest. The Large-Tall is one of the few jackets I've worn that fits my torso and still has sleeves long enough to stay under my gauntlet gloves. I didn't have to utilize MotorcycleGear.com's great return policy.
