Great to wear under your jacket when it doesn't have padding. My Vanson leather jacket makes me feel a bit naked without padding, though it's a really thick jacket. Really impressed with the versatility and the price can't be beat. I'm also going to use this padding in my jOe rocket jacket that has CE armour that is breaking apart.
