THE TALE OF TWO RIGHT FEET: MotorcycleGear.com comes through and makes things right. Last Wednesday, I ordered a pair of Cortech Vice WP Riding Shoes. These shoes were on closeout because they were factory seconds (under harsh scrutiny, I have determined the pair I received is only missing a black accent strip on the sole). I received my order in only 2 days and I was excited to get home and try therm out. I quickly tore into the box and declared them to be very well made and of the utmost coolness. It wasn't until later, when I went to try then on, I discovered I had between shipped two right boots.... No Bueno. I immediately went to MotorcycleGear.com's website only to find their customer service hours had ended 2 hours earlier. I fired off an email with the expectation it would not be seen until the following Monday. I have been ordering from MotorcycleGear.com for as long as I have been riding - back when they were still NewEnough.com and have never had an issue. It is easy to be my service provider when everything is going well; it is when mistakes are made that a company has the opportunity to either build our lose loyalty. MotorcycleGear.com did not disappoint. When I woke up Saturday morning I already had an email from the owner of the company Paul Thompson. He apologized for the mix-up and promised to get a replacement pair shipped out on Monday. I received the replacement pair today, one week from the original order. Not too shabby. I was also emailed a return shipping label for the two right boots so I am not out any additional money. They made things right. They built a loyal customer who will readily recommend MotorcycleGear.com to friends, colleagues, and total strangers (through social media). The boots themselves are very comfortable. I am a corporate trainer and I am on my feet all day and these boots are great. They have good protection heal, toe, and both the inside and outside of the ankle. So far these are the best casual boots I have owned. - Chance TheMotorcycleJones.com
