I bought these in November 09, and by now I've had a chance to use them in conditions from 20-90 degrees F -- they are GREAT! Sizing was tricky, to say the least. TM seems to have some very inconsistent sizing practices, but thanks to NE's flexible return policy, I was able to finally find the right pair; I would recommend one size larger than you usually wear, and opting for the "tall" option to make sure the pants cover your boots when seated on the bike. The reflective stripes are great (see pic), and converting from mesh to full shell is quick and easy. My only "beef" would be with the windproof liner, which has no side zippers; when installed, putting on/taking off the pants with boots on is very hard, if not impossible. So, I rode all winter with just the thermal liner installed, and that worked fine -- I always have rain gear in my bags, anyway, so the windproof liner is superfluous, imo. Now that it's summer, both liners stay in the closet, and I just carry the textile shell in my bags for night riding or cooler days.
