I have 20K miles and little over a year on the Tourmaster Solution boots. At first the armor rubbed alittle on my ankle bone, this went away after the first week. The boots took two weeks of daily riding to really break-in. 1.5 years later they feel great, I could ride all day in them and get off the bike and walk 10 miles without hesitation. They are waterproof, my daily commute is 70 miles and in pouring rain I stay dry. My regular size is a 11.5 4E, I have a size 12 and they fit perfect. I have not put anything on the boots, yet... I wanted to give them a good test. I will treat the boots at the of this year. I hope Tour Master will continue this boot for a long time, I will purchase another pair when these wear out...
