Sizing Information

Here is a chart provided by Vemar for this helmet. We tried on these helmets and it is our opinion that the helmets run about one size large. Therefore, we recommend that you buy one size smaller than the chart indicates. If you are between sizes, then just choose the smaller.

To measure, begin by wrapping a cloth tape measure around your head about 1 inch or 2.5 cm above your eyebrows, which should be the largest portion of your head.

Size Head (inches) Head (cm)

Our Two Cents

Here’s a closeout you’ll find only at Motorcyclegear.com! We bought all the remaining US inventory in this style. Enjoy the savings while the inventory remains. When our stock is sold, there will be no more! Our product comments: The Easy CKQI helmet by Vemar is a good quality open face helmet. When I first put the helmet on the first thing I noticed about the helmet is how soft the cheek pads and liner are. The second thing I noticed was the shell shape of the helmet is a round shape. If your head shape is more of an oval then you will end up with a lot of open room above the ears, and this might not be the helmet for you. If you have a round head then you are in luck! The Easy CKQI is lightweight and that’s something every rider can agree on is a big plus. This really helps reduce the strain on your neck when you are clockin’ some serious saddle time. A lot of open face helmets don’t bother with venting because, well, it’s an open face. However Vemar did add an adjustable ventilation system in the top of this helmet. The reason they did this is the helmet comes with a large face shield to protect the rider’s face and keep the wind out of your eyes. With the shield down the helmet is not going to get much air circulating through the top of the helmet and your head can get pretty hot during those warmer days. The top vents allow air to flow into the top of the helmet and channels heat out the two rear exhaust vents in the back of the helmet. Speaking of the face shield it is easily removable for cleaning, replacing or if you would rather ride without it. The helmet also has a tinted drop down visor that is operated by a lever on the left hand side of the helmet. The quick release chin strap is easy to operate and has a wide range of adjustment. All in all it is a good looking, well made helmet that is easy to like…maybe that is why they call it the “Easy” CKQI. :: Aaron, 02-07-13

Age of these helmets: The manufacturing date of these helmets ranges from mid-2010 to mid-2012. Some people think a helmet is good only for 5 years from its manufacturing date, but other argue that the clock starts with retail sale (because the helmets remain unworn and don’t deteriorate over time when not in use). Here is a good link of a discussion on the topic. Ultimately each consumer must decide for themselves, but we thought it was important to make you aware. Specifically, here is the age by size/color:
