Generally speaking, we recommend you buy the size you normally buy in women’s alpha sized clothing. We tried a Small jacket on Laverne and a Large jacket on Shirley and both fit very well. Laverne is a size 6 dress with a 35 chest and the Small was just a bit snug on her but not far off. Shirley’s large fit just about right. She is a size 12 with a 38 chest. These results confirm Speed and Strength’s chart for women, so you can use the chest sizes for additional guidance. We don’t often see sleeve lengths discussed for women’s gear so I’m not sure if those measurements will be of help. Holly felt the sleeve lengths were typical for women’s sizes (about average).
