The Sport Rain boot by Sidi is part of a closeout deal we scored for boots imported directly from Sidi in Europe. You may still see a few Sport Rain boots available in the US, but the previous US version differed slightly from what you see here. This European version has a “street sole” like you see on many of the touring boots offered by Sidi, and the older version had a thicker lug sole (much like the Traffic Rain). The design is simple and comfortable and nearly any type of street rider will like the design. The side entry makes them easy to put on and take off, and the simple styling makes them perfect for use on the bike or after you get where you are going. The boots are made waterproof by a waterproof liner. If you take the “View Larger Images” link above, you’ll see that there is a gaiter behind the main zipper to keep water out of the side zipper opening. The boots are reinforced in the heel and toe and include an armor insert for the inside ankle bone. The shin is lightly padded too.
