Sizing Information

This model runs pretty true to Sidi’s size conversion chart. Visit our Sidi Sizing Information page for complete size conversion info (ladies can use the chart at the bottom of the page). The upper portion of these boots is fairly roomy and should accommodate larger calves, although there is not much adjustment available with the Velcro flap closure.

Our Two Cents

Sidi’s Cobra Rain boots are a water-resistant version of their popular Cobra boot. Hmmm…. well road racing isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think about riding in the rain, is it? But for a lot of riders, gear that has a dual purpose has a lot of appeal. In this case, these boots have a waterproof liner which is designed to keep your feet dry in rain, but the boot has the protective features of a race boot, so one pair of boots could work for all sorts of street riding and be used for racing as well. These boots look the same and fit the same as the “regular” Cobra boots (take the link below to see more general comments on the non-waterproof Cobra design). The one way to see that the boots are the waterproof version is the flap across the zipper opening. You can see this in our close-up pictures by taking the “View Larger Pictures” link above. We’ve included a shot of the boots with jeans so you can see how they might look for everyday use.
