Sizing Information

Choose the waist size you normally buy in pants. Inseam sizes are listed below. If you plan to tuck the pants into boots, you’ll be OK even if you normally buy a taller inseam—I’d say you’d be OK if the inseam you normally buy is up to 2” longer than listed here. You can consult sizing information from Firstgear for more sizing information.

Our Two Cents

We just received a shipment of the Fuel Jackets and pants from our distributor. We took all they had, so we are able to offer a great price. Use the drop down menu above to see what sizes/colors remain. My comments from last season… The Fuel pants are made to go with the matching Fuel Jacket. Like the Fuel jacket, this style has leather overlays on the hips and knees to increase abrasion resistance. This style is very versatile and could be worn with any jacket. I usually wear textile or mesh pants (similar to this style) with a leather jacket. For me, the textile fits my style better when touring (going in stores and restaurants when off the bike) as compared to leather. The pants include Temperfoam armor in the knees and a small amount of integral padding on the hips and knees (areas of raised leather). There are pockets in the hip area of the pants to insert armor if you like (take the link below—we stock it). I like the leg treatment on these pants. They have a zipper, so when closed, they are tapered and tuck into sport boots easily, but when the zipper is open, they work more like regular pants over the boots. The waist is comfortable and has elastic expansion on the sides for some “give” while sitting on the bike.
