Our Two Cents

Alpinestars Street Cargo pants offer an alternative to jeans or other pants that offer no protection at all, in a style that looks good either on or off the bike. The pants offer a casual style and with the large pockets up front look very much like cargo pants. The material used in these pants is an abrasion-resistant nylon and the knees are equipped with removable CE approved knee armor. The armor in the knees consists of three layers of soft flexible padding that is very comfortable and will contour to fit the shape of your knee. The pants have a relaxed fit in the legs, and you shouldn’t have any trouble wearing these pants over boots. The pants are a little less baggy in the thighs and seat and have expansion material below the waist in back and above the knees which helps when sitting on a bike. The expansion panels are hidden though, so the pants look more “normal” than other sport style pants. The pants are a medium weight fabric and should be comfortable in cool to warm weather. They also come with a removable liner which insulates in front, down to the knees (sort of a half liner).
