Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

This is a sport/race style glove so it will fit more snugly than you might be used to. If you are sometimes between sizes in a US brand of glove then choose the larger. If you have experience with European brand gloves such as Alpinestars, which typically run about 1/2 size smaller than US brand gloves, then choose the same size you wear in those.

Our Two Cents

We took feature shots of this glove in our studio before I sat down to tell you about them. I was expecting a price of about $100 to $120ish, but I was really pleasantly surprised with the super-affordable price. Now granted, AGV Sport is not a brand whose quality is comparable to $200 race gloves (like Alpinestars for example), but these really are pretty nice. I like the “boxed” finger construction (meaning the finger seams are sewn to the outside) which makes them comfortable to wear and easy to break in. The knuckle protector feels really sturdy and is backed with padding so it isn’t uncomfortable when you make a fist. The gloves have a pretty nice wrist strap to keep them on your hands if you fall and the gauntlet is HIGHLY adjustable with a double Velcro strap arrangement. The side of the hand, side of the pinkie, palm, and heel of the hand have various raised padded areas to give you a bit of impact protection. Like I said, for the money, I really do like this style. :: Paul, 02-11-14
