Our Two Cents
The FirstGear skull cap is kind of unique as skull caps go. It’s got a windproof liner and the bottom band is a bit thicker (like thin neoprene).
I think I’ll get one of these for long walks on cold days. It will be perfect for keeping the wind off my ears and adding a little warmth to my head. For motorcycling? Well, if you have a half helmet or brain bucket, you could use this cap underneath to cover your ears. Would it work under a full face? Hmm… maybe. Since it’s a bit thicker than the usual skull cap, I’m not sure it would fit, especially if your helmet is a close fit. If your helmet is a bit loose on you, it might be just the thing though. :: Paul, 04-10-19
PS: Another thing this might work for is holding earbuds in place during athletic pursuits since the cap comes down completely over the ears (use earbuds off the bike of course!).
