The ultimate track helmet is now even better, with an included hydration system, MotoGP-developed metal air vents and a wind-tunnel-tested “biplano” spoiler that has multiple wings to maximize aerodynamic performance and add stability at high speed. The 100% 3K carbon fiber shell’s shape is designed to minimize interference with the racing suit, while the interior has an adaptable fit and places no stitching in sensitive areas.

- Four shell sizes
- IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) with wide ducts hollowed into shell
- Scratch-resistant clear visor with wide field of vision with tear-off pins, ready and suitable for tear-off shields
- Visor is class 1 optical standard approved for excellent vision XQRS (Extra Quick Release System) so you can replace the shield in seconds without the use of tools
- The field of vision is 15 degrees wider and the overall visor window area has been increased by 9% compared to the previous helmet, without compromising its level of protection
- The basic visor movement area has been reduced by 71% compared to the GP-Tech helmet; this allows use of the space saved to increase the thickness of the absorption material, benefiting safety
- Breathable Lycra? microporous lining and Dry-Comfort? fabric with sanitizing treatment, fully removable and washable
- Padding has a 3-D concave structure which is pre-shaped according to the morphological characteristics of the head, while the surfaces in direct contact with the head are free from stitching for guaranteed comfort

This limited edition graphic will only see a production run of 2500. It was produced to celebrate 20 years of Rossi’s successful partnership with AGV helmets. Here is what AGV has to say about the graphic : “Being a great champion means not only to win races, but also to keep on doing it with the same passion over the years!
Valentino Rossi won his first 125cc world title in 1997, and today still makes us dream every time he races.
In 2017, with the invaluable and unfailing collaboration of designer Aldo Drudi, AGV developed a special graphic that is based on the one Valentino had when he secured his first victory, the famous sun/moon, and re-adapts it to the Pista GP R helmet, which features visible carbon, neon yellow instead of yellow, and a revised logo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first victory. This is because Valentino is not just a great motorcycling champion, but also an internationally famous Italian icon.”
