The width of the boots is “medium” or C/D width. We suggest using the size chart to choose a size based upon your US shoe size, or of course choose the European size you wear if you know it. If if you are between sizes, I’d suggest the larger.

The Shelton D-WP shoes by Dainese are a sharp lace-up boot style that is made of a traditional “slick” leather which will look sharp on or off the bike.

I like the feel of the leather used in these boots. So many motorcycle boots are made of a microfiber man-made leather, but this one uses the real stuff. These boots will look great with jeans on the bike for for casual wear when you get where you are going.

The sole has a work boot style tread pattern made of rubber so it should be perfectly suitable for riding. The sole is made smooth on the sides to make it look more like a street boot. Also, in trying on this boot, I notice the height of the heel feels a bit higher than most motorcycle boots. Have a look at our photo gallery to check the heel height.

The boots have a firm shank in the sole, protectors built in the boot on each side of the ankle and the heel and toe box areas are reinforced, so this boot has what you need for riding. The closure of the boot is simple speed laces up the front. The boot is made waterproof with an internal waterproof liner and the tongue has a side gaiter to keep water out up to about the top of the ankle bone.
