Sizing Information

We find TCX boots to be very consistent in fit from one model to the next. We checked this boot and it too is consistent with other models. To choose a size, please click here to see the TCX size chart. The general width of TCX is “medium” or D to E. To compare to other brands you may have experience with, I’d say the overall fit is somewhere between a Sidi boot which is generally a bit more narrow and an Alpinestars boot which has a more generous width.

Our Two Cents

Wow, nice boots and this style is unique to our store… something you can wear with dress clothes but that still have motorcycle safety features.

I just tried a pair of these boots on with jeans and they look great. And they’d look great with slacks too. They are a traditional style dress boot that would look great even in the most dressy environment.

I can feel impact protectors on either side of the ankle bone and the sole of the boots is stiffer in the shank area than ordinary street shoes. I can’t say the toe box and heel surround are significantly stiffer than a dress boot/shoe though. But the boots do carry a CE Level one rating, so the reinforcements are tested and rated.

The leather is very nice and has a “slick” finish that can take a polish, and the sole is thin in front with a traditional dress shoe heel. No way anybody would object to you wearing these in an office even if you are a suit and tie organization. The boots are lined with a smooth and thin calfskin. VERY NICE! So, you ask, “How do I keep from scuffing those boots with my shifter?”. In the box you’ll find a little scuff protector you can slip on your boot before you ride. Have a look at it in our photo gallery.
