Sizing Information

The waist of these pants is simple elastic with a wide range. Below is a chart we put together that shows the range of stretch from “lightly stretched” to “fully stretched”. The middle of each range seems to correspond to what you would expect for normal men’s clothing sizes. I’d advise you to choose the size that puts you squarely in the middle of the range (which most probably is the same size you wear in men’s clothing).

Size Waist
Measured Range
XS 24- 36
Small 26- 38
Med 28- 40
Large 30- 42
XL 32- 44
XXL 34- 46
XXXL 36- 48

Our Two Cents

Like the Nitric H2O rain jacket (see below), these Acid H2O rain pants are made of a lightweight material which allows you to pack them away in a very small space (and they come with their own little storage pouch). Otherwise, these pants are pretty standard. The pant leg ends have Velcro to allow you to adjust the pant down around your boot. When the Velcro is “unstuck” the pants are a wide bell bottom to facilitate pulling them on. Consider buying these pants for use with any rain jacket or with your riding jacket. Many riders have a waterproof/resistant jacket and a pair of pants like this is all they need for the occasional downpour. :: Paul, 12-03-12
