Sizing Information
You’d want to buy this pant in the size you’d normally buy men’s clothes. The pants are made slightly taller and larger than standard with the idea you’d be able to wear them over pants without having to choose a larger-than-normal size. The chart below gives an estimate of actual measured size. As you can see, the waist on the pants is HIGHLY variable, but it might help to choose a size so that your waist is well in the middle of the range.
| Size | Waist Relaxed | Waist Stretched | Inseam |
| Small | 24 | 39 | 33 |
| Medium | 28 | 43 | 33 |
| Large | 32 | 47 | 33.5 |
| XL | 36 | 51 | 33.5 |
| XXL | 40 | 55 | 34.5 |
| XXXL | 44 | 59 | 34.5 |
| XXXXL | 48 | 63 | 35 |
Our Two Cents
The Splash pants combine with the Splash jacket (see link below) to form a nice two piece rain suit. Or they can be used in conjunction with a waterproof riding jacket over jeans. The Splash pants are constructed of 100% nylon, which is nice and comfortable, and doesn’t feel too hot or stiff. These pants have an elastic waist with a lot of flexibility, which makes it easy to pull them on quickly over your regular riding pants on the side of the road. There are lower leg zippers which allow you to get them on over boots, and the cuffs are also elastic. When zipped up, the elastic cuffs will form a good seal around your boots. The Splash pants have a waterproof cargo pocket as well, which is nice and easy to get into. One of the best features of these pants is the integrated storage pouch. When not in use, these pants fold up inside a pouch that is built into the seat of the pants. They pack down fairly small which makes them a great option for the touring rider or commuter who doesn’t have a whole lot of space to sacrifice. We have taken several pictures of these pants here in our studio, so be sure to click the “View Larger Images” link above to take a look at those.

The Armadillo vest is tough! While being worn, it is not particularly noticeable and fits well under any jacket, even ones with some back padding already in place. I got another set of rain-gear, a FirstGear jacket and overpants. (Read more...)

FirstGear Mesh-Tex is a good summer jacket, specially for street riding in those hottest days. It's light and definitely flows more air than any other jacket we have, plus light grey/matte silver colour also absorbs less heat. Price on closeout ma... (Read more...)
