Sizing Information

We measured a selection of these pants in our office and created the chart below. It is strange how the short size inseams get less “short” as compared to the regular inseams as the size increases. Oh well, the tape doesn’t lie!

Our Two Cents

What a value! These might be my new favorite “do it all” pants for motorcycling. The Telluride pants are extremely versatile. With their two part liner and zippered ventilation system, the Telluride pants will work in a wide variety of climates and conditions. Let’s talk about these from the inside out: The innermost liner is a quilted, insulated liner which seems like it would be nice and toasty on cold days. The quilted liner attaches to a Reissa waterproof liner which should do a decent job keeping you dry. As with any textile gear, you’ll probably want a good rain suit for extended wet weather riding. Keep in mind that since the waterproof liner goes inside the pants, the outer shell will get wet. Both liners together should make for a very nice wet/cold weather pant, or the waterproof liner can be used alone if it’s not too terribly cold outside. With both liners removed these pants are very comfortable thanks to the built in mesh lining. There are zippered vents on the front and back of the thighs which will help keep you cool on hot days as well. For a comfortable fit, the waist has stretch panels at the sides, as well as a Velcro waist adjustment belt. There are also stretch panels above the knees and at the lower back for comfort in the riding position. The Telluride pants also have a unique panel behind the knees with a more flexible material that won’t bunch up and should stay nice and comfortable. The lower legs have 10 inch zippers which make it easier to get the legs over your boots, and they are lined with reflective piping for night-time visibility. A rear jacket connection zipper is also included on the Telluride pants. For storage there are two zippered pockets on the front of the pants. CE approved armor is included for the knees, as well as memory foam pads in the hips and lower back. We have taken several closeups of these pants in our studio, so be sure to click the “View Larger Images” link above to take a look.

I chose these because I wanted a riding pant that fit like pants, rather than overpants. I followed the sizing advice and ordered one size up. The fit is perfect, without the liners, which is just what I wanted. (Read more...)
