Our Two Cents

The Strongarm denim pants from Icon are a nice looking pair of jeans that will work well both on and off the bike. They fit and feel very similar to boot cut Levi’s, with Aramid reinforced knees. Aramid is a synthetic fabric which is heat and abrasion resistant. Have a look at our photo gallery to see those reinforcements. More recent jean designs have pockets for the addition of armor in the knees and/or hips but these pants do not. An option to add the knee protection would to buy a pair of protectors you wear under or over the jeans. Have a look at some options here.
