Scorpion Jewel Jacket For Women

The sizing on this jacket is comparable to other “alpha” sized jackets. There are some unique snap waist adjustments that can take out up to 2” in that area, and there are also expansion zippers to accomodate different sized hips. Sleeve measurements are taken from the collar of the jacket, over the shoulder to the end of the sleeve.

The Jewel mesh jacket is probably better described as a mesh/textile hybrid. The sides of the torso, outer sleeves, and shoulders are all textile, which is probably better as those are the areas most likely to take a hit in a crash. The center of the torso in the front and back, as well as the inner arms are all a poly mesh allowing the air to pass right through to your skin. The fit of this jacket is customizable with the snap/buckle waist adjustment straps. These use a unique system of metal buckles with snaps to accomodate different body shapes, and there are also expansion zippers for the hips if you need a little more room. This jacket does include a wind blocking liner for cooler weather, which helps to extend the usable range of the jacket. Armor consists of a foam back pad (with holes for breathability), and CE approved Exo-Tec armor for the elbows and shoulders. This armor is made from a firm memory foam type material which hardens on impact, spreading the force to a larger area.
