Sizing Information

Women’s jackets from Joe Rocket have been very consistent over the last few years with regard to cut and fit and this model is no exception. In doing our usual Fit Check routine, we tried a Small jacket on Laverne and a Large jacket on Shirley and both fit very well. We recommend that you use Joe Rocket’s Size Chart to choose a size for you based upon your measurements and/or dress size.

We notice that the rear corset straps on this jacket are very well designed and work very well to adjust the size of the lower torso. We think you will like having this adjustability to customize the fit. It is more than cosmetic!

Our Two Cents

The 2.2 version of Joe Rocket’s Cleo jacket for women gets a styling makeover and the color combos have been expanded. This style is a full mesh design for hot weather use. It comes complete with removable CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, and a perforated back protector. It also comes with a removable waterproof liner. The liner in this jacket is more substantial than many that come with a jacket. The material is sturdy and there is a very good closure system on the main zipper to keep water out. A liner like this will be useful for the occasional shower and on cool mornings where you might be chilled with just the mesh jacket. Then when temperatures heat up, just remove the liner and ride comfortably through the heat of day. This jacket has a feminine cut which fits a woman’s body more naturally, and can be tightened in the back (a little like a corset), which works very well on this new model. The tightness of the sleeves is also adjustable by way of some snap-close straps. Keeping the armor comfortably snug in the sleeves will help ensure the armor would be in the correct position if you ever hit the ground. Overall, I think this mesh style is great looking and has a lot of features for the money. Joe Rocket Atomic 4.0 - Great jacket. Women's Cleo 2.2 is as well. Wasn't a fan of the Alter Egos though...just way to complicated of a jacket, and the mesh felt really cheap. Returned those. As usual, great service with MotorcycleGear.com
