Olympia Expedition All Season Transition Jacket

If you’re in the market for true four-season riding gear, your search is over. Olympia’s Men’s Expedition jacket offers unmatched levels of adjustable venting plus the exclusive Three Layer Systems Design to deliver the ultimate in all-weather, multi-season riding comfort.

Layer One consists of a rugged 500 and 2000 D Cordura shell for maximum abrasion resistance. Olympia’s exclusive “Mega Vent Panel System” transitions this jacket from solid body to adjustable airflow construction in seconds. Zip down Cordura panels at the chest, arms, and back expose ballistic air mesh panels that offer additional abrasion resistance plus adjustable airflow construction as needed. Forget having to stow away or misplace cumbersome removable vent panels as these panels stay attached to the jacket and fold neatly into self-storage pockets.

Layer Two consists of fully functional rain jacket that can be worn both over or under the main outer shell as weather conditions dictate. A stow-away knit hood with a lower rubberized aqua barrier conceals neatly under the collar and fits comfortably under a helmet. This detail includes Olympia’s exclusive front and back neck gaiter system to provide full circumference waterproof protection as needed.

Layer Three consists of a removable full-sleeve thermal layer with authentic Thermolite insulation. This layer can be worn under the rain jacket or the main outshell. This handy zip-in / zip-out feature ensures multi-season riding comfort through a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions.

Sizing Information

Generally speaking, Olympia gear will work best on those with larger builds and/or people who like their clothing to fit more casually. In contrast, our European brands fit more snug and trim (REVIT, Alpinestars are examples). We tried a size Medium jacket on Huey and an XL on Dewey (our Fit Check mannequins) and they fit just fine. You can see some shots of how they look by clicking the “View Larger Images” link above.

Olympia’s standard size chart reflects the generous sizing for jackets on the larger end of the spectrum, but we think it understates the size of the smaller jackets. To make size selection easier, we’ve developed the chart below to help you choose a size based upon your chest and belly measurements. If you find yourself between sizes in the chart, I’d advise going with the smaller due to the generally generous cut of the jacket.

Jacket Size Max Chest Max Belly
Small 40 38
Medium 43 41
Large 45 43
XL 48 46
XXL 51 49
XXXL 54 51
XXXXL 58 56
