Z1R Infiltrator Vest

We measured a selection of these vests and found them to fit true to the stated size. Vests are generally very forgiving for fit since they don’t have shoulders, and the waist/belly sizes on these vests are quite relaxed. I’d advise you to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing. This particuar design also has a good deal of fit adjustment on the sides. The chest and belly can be taken in 2-4” overall with the side Velcro-close straps.

We also put the Medium on Huey and the XL on Dewey and they look good. I developed a chart below to show you the max chest and max belly size for each alpha size offered.

the Infiltrator vest is new for 2018 and has a sharp modern look. Its partially perforated and has functional side fit adjusters which also add style. It has dual gun pockets too!

A good portion of the leather in the front of this vest is perforated so it should allow some air to filter through to your body making this leather vest a little more summer-compatible than solid leather vests. Take the “View Larger Images” link above to see some good close-ups of the specific features and also those gun pockets. There are actually two gun pockets and each one is lined with a heavy black canvas and also has a couple wide elastic straps to hold the hardware in place. The gun pockets are inside and then outside there are two zip-close hand warmer pockets to store other stuff.

Take a look at our photo gallery shots… you’ll see the vest has discreet reflective piping both front and back to give you some night time visibility. . The arm holes edges as well as the neck hole is banded with leather to make them comfortable and to wear longer. I really like the very clean lines of this vest and the side adjusters are sharp. We have other vests like this, but this one is a bit more subtle with the styling than many of the others. I like it. :: Paul, 06-27-18-18
