Z1R Denim Vest

We measured a selection these jackets and we also put the Medium on Huey and the XL on Dewey. We found the fit of these shirts to fit about like they shoulder when compared to normal men’s clothing. Z1Rs normal sizing chart shows they fit rather generous, but we didn’t think so. So my advice would be to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.

If you know your suit coat size or you have a tape and can measure, please use the size chart below. You’ll want to pick a size that is big enough for both your chest and your belly. These vests taper from chest to waist by about 4”, so most people will find an easy fit even if they have a bit of a belly.

The Z1R denim vest offers great gun pockets in a standard style denim vest!

This vest includes one fully equipped gun pocket inside and one zippered breast pocket. The gun pocket islined with heavy nylon material that should wear well, and they’ve sewn in a couple wide stretch material loops to anchor the equipment you put in there.

This vest has a few must have features for the road. The front closes with snaps, but behind that is a zipper so the shirt won’t immediately blow open if you fall. It will also better keep the shirt closed if you have a gun inside. The collar tips snap down so they won’t drive you crazy flopping against your chin when you are on the road. Besides the gun pockets, there are two front patch pockets and two lower hand pockets. The waist can be pulled in with two side adjuster straps with snaps.

The inside of the vest is lined with nylon mesh. This vest does not have any Kevlar reinforcements or armor.
