Z1R 30-06 Vest

We measured a selection of these vests and found them to fit true to the stated size. Vests are generally very forgiving for fit since they don’t have shoulders, and the waist/belly sizes on these vests are quite relaxed. I’d advise you to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.

We also put the Medium on Huey and the XL on Dewey and they look good. I developed a chart below to show you the max chest and max belly size for each alpha size offered.

The Z1R 30-06 vest is a full featured full-leather vest with the closed neck and mandarin collar. It has gun pockets too!

I like the way this vest has the leather covered front snaps and also a backup zipper behind the row of snaps to keep the vest closed (a safety measure in case of a fall). On the front are a total of four snap-close pockets to store some stuff. And on the inside there are two large gun pockets and also a smaller rectangular pocket for your tech device.

There are actually two gun pockets and each one is lined with a heavy black canvas and also has a couple wide elastic straps to hold the hardware in place. The pockets close with a single snap.

The back of the vest is a single slab of leather with no seams to make it easy to add your club colors. The inside of the vest is lined with nylon. The arm holes are covers are banded to make them comfortable and to wear longer. Overall a very nice vest I think! :: Paul, 01-16-18
