Sizing Information

We tried the size Medium in this jacket on Huey and we put an XL jacket on Dewey. These are the sizes they normally wear and both fit great. The jackets are roomy. My primary advice would be to wear the size you normally wear in men’s clothing. If you are between sizes I’d advise you to go down.

The chart provided by Speed and Strength shows chest sizes for each alpha size that are a bit larger than what you’d normally see for “standard” conversions from chest size to alpha size. Based on my observations (above), the chart seems just about right.

Size Small Medium Large XL 2XL 3XL
Chest 38-40 40-42 42-45 46-48 49-52 53-56
Sleeve 33 34 35 1/2 36 1/2 37 37 1/2

Our Two Cents

Wow! Concealed carry pocket? Sure enough… what I thought was just an ordinary wallet pocket goes down low to accommodate your firearm of choice. Haven’t seen that feature in quite a while. MANY Vanson styles we used to carry had that feature, so I guess it is making a comeback. The styling of this jacket is the key feature, so I’d invite you to take the View Lager Pictures link above and take a look at the large pics of the front and rear. Also, note the material used. It feels much like any other textile jacket, but looks more like worn denim. NOT being denim though is a plus because denim has about zero crash protection capabilities. The addition of the leather swath on the front and back chest is a sharp aspect of the styling and the quilting on the shoulders and forearms adds a bit of either vintage or cruiser look. And of course the black with orange and tan version is obviously aimed at Harley owners. :: Paul, 12-19-13
