Our Two Cents
The Shadow Kevlar jean jacket from AGV Sport looks EXACTLY like your average jean jacket. But under the hood it is reinforced with Kevlar fabric to make it more suitable as protective equipment for riding a motorcycle. In our photo gallery there is a shot of the jacket turned inside out. The yellow areas shown are actually the Kevlar fabric sewn into the jacket. Basically it covers the shoulders, backs of sleeves, and the back area. The jacket comes with pockets for armor and a back pad (although AGV has not made those available yet). The denim used is thick but soft and won’t require any break in. Like AGV says, the jacket will provide protection, but will also be comfortable and useful off the bike as well. No need to stow your jacket when you arrive!.
