Icon Cheek Pads For Airmada Helmets
- Riders will sometimes need to change the cheek pads that come installed in their helmets. Some people need a little more or less space, while others simply need to install a fresh set of pads for better comfort (and smell).
- The pads both come out and can be installed quite easily. Simply slide the pad into the shell and snap the closures into place.
- Use the chart below to figure out what size cheek pad you currently have based on your helmet size, and then pick a replacement set based on your need.
Use the table below to determine what size cheek pads came standard with your helmet:
|Helmet Size||Size Pads That Came In Your Helmet||Description|
|XXS||30mm||Fits XXS through S Helmets|
|XS||25mm||Fits XXS through S Helmets|
|Small||20mm||Fits XXS through S Helmets|
|Medium||25mm||Fits Medium through XXXL Helmets|
|Large||25mm||Fits Medium through XXXL Helmets|
|XL||25mm||Fits Medium through XXXL Helmets|
|XXL||20mm||Fits Medium through XXXL Helmets|
|XXXL||15mm||Fits Medium through XXXL Helmets|
You can buy the same thickness of cheek pad if you like the fit of your helmet and just need a replacement set. Or you can buy a different thickness cheek pad to adjust fit as long as you buy a pad sized to be interchangeable. The description in the table above shows which pad sizes are interchangeable. The cheek pads for the XXS, XS and Small helmets are interchangeable; likewise, the cheek pads for the Medium, Large, XL, XXL and XXXL helmets are interchangeable.
Changing cheek pads to change the helmet fit: To get MORE room in your helmet, you need to buy a THINNER cheek pad. To get a TIGHTER fit, you need to buy a THICKER cheek pad. Example: If you have a size Large Airmada helmet, you have cheek pads that are 25mm thick. If the helmet is too tight on you, a 20mm pad would give you more room.
