Sizing Information

In recent history it seems that Scorpion gloves are fitting just a bit more snug overall. We often point out that Alpinestars and REV’IT! gloves fit just a touch smaller than the US based gloves like Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, and it feels like these gloves fit more like the European brands.

The fit is not so much smaller that I’d recommend that you buy a larger size (especially if a snug fit is preferred) but it is noticeable enough to say that if you are sometimes between sizes, then you should probably choose the larger of the two. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

These Talon gloves by Scorpion will be a great choice for just about any kind of street rider for summer. I say summer because a good portion of the back of the hand and the side of the thumb is open mesh material which will allow a lot of air to blow through.

The gloves have a good amount of protection… far more than many full mesh gloves offer. There is the molded knuckle protector which is quite substantial feeling and there is a bit of raised padding in the palm area. One other little bit of padding is on the out-facing side of the wrist. It’s an oval pad that covers that little wrist bone that sticks out, which might save you an injury if you fell and your hand landed on its side.

Of course these aren’t FULLY armored gloves but for a breezy summer style, they are more protective than most, and they feel like they are good quality overall. For many, this glove will seem like a good solution for summer use. :: Paul, 09-15-15
