Sizing Information

We tried on a few sizes in this glove and we think they run a bit small as compared to most US brands like Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc. I don’t think they run a full size small…. more like 1/2 size small. Many European brands we carry run a bit snug like this such as Alpinestars or REVIT. I’d advise you to choose the size you have worn in any of those European sizes. If you have experience with a US brand, then choose that same size also, but if you find yourself between sizes, choose the larger. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

Moose makes the ADV1 glove in a short or long version. The gloves have similar features except for the cuff length. Choose the long if you want the glove to go over OR under a jacket. Choose the short version to go under a jacket sleeve (or to wear with just a jersey).

These gloves are a low cost wet weather glove for street, adventure or off road. They gloves are built with a waterproof/breathable liner to keep water out. The body of the gloves are a combination of leather and textile and so they are relatively light weight.

The gloves include a molded knuckle protector backed by a layer of D3O material which is soft and pliable, but will provide impact protection in case you fall.

The long cuff version has a Velcro adjuster for cuff to help you get a good fit over your jacket and also has a Velcro strap at the wrist to hold the gloves securely on your hand. The short version has a simple Velcro close at the wrist. Both gloves are lined with a soft fleecy material which is comfortable. The combination of the shell, the waterproof liner and the inner liner, although not mean to be an insulator, will give some insulation against cold. I’d say the gloves will be good for temps between very cool to warm (but not hot or very cold temps).

I’d say these gloves are a good value. There are certainly better gloves out there, but in this price range, they look pretty good to me. :: Paul, 11-28-17
