Our Two Cents
The Joe Rocket Superstock gloves are an all-leather short cuff glove for street riders. The gloves are made of medium-weight leather. There are a few perforated areas on the glove, but not a lot so I’d recommend these for cooler to warm weather, but not hot weather. On the back of the hand there is a large molded knuckle protector (the molded vents are not functional) that floats above the main body of the glove so there is no binding or pressure when making a fist. This sort of construction is almost universal these days to make the larger knuckle protectors comfortable. There is a double leather area in the heel of the hand also. I give these gloves the “thumbs up” for initial comfort… they are pre-curved and feel very nice on for the first time. The cuff closes with a Velcro tab (pretty standard). Overall, a nice design. :: Paul, 07-29-12
Notice the mention of “Polymeric Construction” in the factory bullets? What is that? Something more than marketing mumbo/jumbo? I’ll ask and add the info here… 07-30-12: Ok, here is the answer: ”...it is a latex material that is slightly lubricated and no protection against STD’S.”
