Sizing Information

For your reference, these gloves fit consistently with the major American designed brands we carry such as Tour Master, Joe Rocket, FirstGear, etc, which are “normal” in fit and size. And they are a bit more roomy than some European brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! that typically run about a half size smaller than the American “normal” fit. Hopefully you have some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

It has been a while since I tried on the Pursuit gloves by Icon. This model has been around for years, but for 2013, this is the new Touchscreen version. Of course, that means the leather will operate a smartphone, iPad etc. I verified that it works, and it works well. The snug trim fit of a glove like this makes the touchscreen capability more practical. You won’t be pecking out novels of course, but for the basic functions they work fine. Here were my comments on the standard Pursuit glove which is also applicable to these gloves: These gloves remind me of motorcycle cop gloves. They have the short wrist design (except slightly longer on the palm side to help you pull them on). They fit skin tight and should provide excellent feel for the controls. Molded knuckle armor is included on the back of the hand. Two versions are available… perf and non-perf. I like the little snap at the cuff of the glove that lets you snap the gloves together when not in use. Maybe this would help prevent losing a glove accidentally? Anyway, take the “View Larger Images” link above to see the close-up photos of the gloves and the perforated style leather. Like I said, I’ve always liked the Pursuit model and for ten bucks more you can amaze your friends with the touchscreen capability. :: Paul, 03-14-13
