These gloves seem to fit OK for a pretty wide range of hand size, so if you order the size you usually wear, you should find a good fit. If you are between sizes, I’d advise you to choose the larger.

I wear an XL and thought they fit well, if anything a bit snug. Aaron wears a Medium and tried on the same XL gloves and was surprised they were actually an XL because they weren’t far off from a fit for him too.

Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Overall, I like these Overlord mesh gloves. The fit is easy (see my comments above), and the styling is sharp. There is a nice variety of materials used which makes the gloves interesting, and I especially like the palm leather. The goadskin is soft and is one piece which really helps it fit great. With a leather in the palm so soft and pliable, I wouldn’t expect long life, but heck, at the asking price, they’d still be a bargain even with shorter life. We’ve got lots of gloves like this that are less protective for more money.

The knuckle armor is a molded piece that is reasonably substantial, which puts it ahead of most other low cost short cuff gloves like this, but there isn’t much else in the protection department to crow about.

One note of caution… be careful when pulling on the gloves. The cuff of the glove is not reinforced properly around the lower edge. The leather is sewn to the textile pieces along side it with zero reinforcement. If you yank hard pulling them on, they’ll surely tear. And since I forewarned you, I’ll be pissed if you want to return them! :) :: Paul, 09-11-14
