Icon 1000 Turnbuckle Gloves

Hmmm…. I found these gloves to fit comparably to other gloves we sell through the hand, but the fingers are longer than normal. If you have trouble finding gloves that have long enough fingers, then you may just have found some gloves you’ll love. But if you are “normal” in the finger length department, then look elsewhere. The Icon Turnbuckle gloves are more about style than substance. I’ll agree the styling is unique, and Icon certainly knows how to define style. Take a look at the larger images by taking the “View Larger Images” link above. The covert green and Patriot colors are definitely unique. But after you get past the style issue, IMHO, this is just a plain leather short cuff street glove, uh, err, for $90 bucks. I also thought the knuckle padding on the back of the hand was in an odd place and didn’t feel comfortable. And that large METAL logo stitched just over the knuckles looks like it could become more of a weapon to your hand than anything if it catches and turns upon impact. If you want a Turnbuckle glove, we’ll sell it to you, but personally I’m not a fan. :: Paul, 10-24-12
