Dainese X-Run Gloves

Like other European based brands, we find Dainese gloves to run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is comparable to Alpinestars and REVIT. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. The Dainese X-Run glove is a sharp street sport glove for every day use. The glove is a mix of textile, leather and steel. The palm is a suede material that works well for street gloves because they are grippy and long lasting. The palm and heel of the hand have double leather.

The knuckles are covered with a knuckle guard made of leather and molded steel pieces. Those pieces are sharp looking and will provide some impact protection. The steel is thin and light weight so don’t be concerned they’ll be uncomfortable. They are shaped well and since there are three pieces they are flexible too.

The cuff of this glove closes securely with a simple Velcro close strap. The backs of the fingers are reinforced with leather. These gloves look great and they are comfortable to wear and should be more protective than most short cuff styles. :: Paul, 08-07-18
